Yi Kuo
郭一
Yi Kuo is a new media artist and technological experimenter. His work frequently employs game engines, multiplayer systems, and AI-generated imagery to craft experiences that traverse the boundary between the virtual and the real, while probing the intersection of technology and mythic consciousness. His practice spans theater, virtual reality, audiovisual performances, online experiences, and spatial installations, and has been presented at international festivals such as MUTEK (CA, JP), Grey Area Festival (US), Ars Electronica (AU), and Transmediale (DE).
In addition to his artistic practice, Kuo is also a designer and developer, driven by a deep interest in emerging creative tooling and democratic forms of collaboration. He founded Protoworld, a 3D social platform for networked expression and collective experimentation.
新媒體藝術家與科技實驗者。作品使用使用遊戲引擎、多人連線、AI生成影像等技術，創造虛實之間的體驗。創作形式包含劇場、虛擬實境、音像演出、線上體驗、空間裝置等。其同時也是一名設計師、開發者，熱衷於建造嶄新的使用體驗，並探索科技時代的協作、治理課題。曾創辦Protoworld 3D社交平台。
